Abstract

"The United States Co. have purchased the iron building on the north side of Liberty street a few doors west of Nassau street for offices for their parent company, Ill. co. &c. It is a large double iron building say 5 stories high. They told me yesterday, at the Gramme Company, that they seriously thought of moving up to Union Square, but that they had finally decided to stay near Wall street."
