- Editor's Notes
- About US Company. They've obtained through political influence the contract for lighitng Brooklyn Bridge; the lights are working poorly. Brush company has placed lamps near the Brooklyn side of the bridge; they "give a very bright & steady light" in contrast to US Company's lights. "The Coney Island plant of the US Ill. Co. has proved an utter failure." "They lost largely upon their contract with the City last year." Their lights at Hoffman House are also a failure.
