- Editor's Notes
- "Please hae Lawson put 1/2 doz Carbon forms with Bamboo in ready for Carbonization in dish & cover with Boiled Linseed Oil & then heat oil very gradually up to say 500 deg fahr--when most of the carbonization will take place; then you can either wash the forms in turpentine after taking out of dish & then put in regular run & Run up to high heat as regular or you can wash with turpentine & take out loop & put in new forms -- The theory is that the heat is applied perfectly even & thus you prevent internal stress, & also prevent oxidation at the point where the carbon is the most sensitive Let me know how you come out with it" recommend select dh 20dec02
