Title
[D8338A], Letter from Arnold Henry White to Samuel Insull, January 1st, 1883
Editor's Notes
Thanks for yours of 20th. Was very ill on return voyage from NY. Things here went to the devil while I was away. Capt. Shaw is pulling his shares out and "there is a pretty wholesome funk established all around." We must have from TAE as quickly as possible the nature of his improvements, as the "cry for relief and amalgamation has grown into a scream." Think I'm the only one in all England with full confidence in future of the Co., but think I can get Edison's program accepted in a week or 10 days.
