Title
[D8338I1], Letter from A Dalgleish, Edison Electric Light Co Ltd to Thomas Alva Edison, February 1st, 1883
Editor's Notes
Confirming cables. From you 31 Jan: "Can ship central station ARmington Saturday. Answer." To you 31 Jan: "Are you discarding Armingtons in central station." From you 31 Jan: "Certainly not." To you 1 Feb: "Send C Armington." We'd heard the A&S were not satisfactory and you were reverting to Porter, hence our cable as above. [next frame is 3 February Electrical Review clipping saying that EHJ is rumored to return to England to take over general management of the Edison co., also that Hammer will again become its electrician.]
