"S.S. 'Oregon.' With reference to the order for two Armington engines sent you on 24th instant, please note that the driving pulleys must be made to take a 9 inch belt within the flanges--not a 7th as stated on our order. Please also note that the engines are to be shipped to Liverpool per Guion line, instead of to Glasgow, in order that they may be tested with the dynamo at Manchester before being put on board the vessel."
