Title
[D8340Z], Letter from Spencer Borden to Thomas Alva Edison, June 5th, 1883
Editor's Notes
"A question comes up in Haverhill which is of much importance, and Messrs Sanders and [Trimble?] think it vital." Wrt sewing machines in small shops and shoe factories; lots of belting and shafting for them; can be replaced by your electric system. "Can you have motors ready by the time the station starts? Will these motors be owned by the Company or sold to the user?"
