- [written from Detroit] Dyer (Markle's partner) has left town possibly to avoid me. He and Markle have fallen out. I propose to find Dyer and make him and Markle adjust quarrel ( Markle has been to a law firm to sue Dyer) and then cancel the contract. After that I make a fresh deal. McMillan is away though he knew I was coming. Going to Grand Rapids to search for Dyer. Had hoped to be in NY Wed night but cant do it . May be home at office Friday at office Friday morning.
