- Editor's Notes
- [from Akron; "PERSONAL"] Have recovered from recent indisposition. Dyer finished the retail section of Akron and a good part of the residential portion. He still has a greater part of the factories , the city is poorly laidout, which makes his work longer than usual. He dropped in on the Brush Swan office and it was lit by 10 swan lamps supplied by 10 batteries take up more room than a 250 light dynamo. We have a plant herd in a Paper Mill and will visit it tonight. Got three bulletins from Mr.Stuart containing convincing articles on the Storage battery; will have a proprietor read them. Pleased about about progress of business in the east; if can get a Edison plant started this fall in Ohio it might be the begininng of a wave and sweep the rival companies out of the state.
