Title
[D8343ZBL], Letter from William Symes Andrews to Thomas Alva Edison, October 4th, 1883
Editor's Notes
I find that the pressure indicator don’t not work as well as they should. The pointers don’t work. Its is important to get a acurate reading. The magnet does not work well. The resitance cords are low they heat up too much which affect the readings. The heat causes expansion of the working ports so the poitner moves slugglish. I would like to change them based on Clarkes idea that there should be two cords to make the readings more accurate. I wil send sketches ( no sketches attached) Tae marginaila " refer to Clarke" Clarke marginailia " sketches placed in Bergmanns and CO hands by the order of TAE , the matter is laid on the table " clarke
