WE are receiving numerous complaints of non riveted belts which we are using, one of them is parted the other day at Lawernece and causes very serious trouble .andrews thinks that belts are not strong enough without being riveted .Rich spoke yesterday of a raw hide belt which is made up and taned after the ends are connected, This make the joint that is jus as strong as any other portion of the best .You had better ventilate this subject
