- Editor's Notes
- Danbury, CT. "Have got some of the best people there interested if they don't get some cock & bull story about storage, lawsuits, sawyer-mann, Daft or something else to upset it." Will have a meeting here tonight. "Have had dealings with all kinds and classes of people but these "Yanks take the cake, for a hard lot. 3 times as hard to interest as western people. they have been such 'skins' themselves that they expect everybody else is trying to sking them." Goes on to New Haven tomorrow "but don't expect to do anything as I learn a political crowd there have a charter for Electric Lighting from the Legislature & have adopted the Maxim & US Arc, that Maxim is not giving satisfaction but they expect all lighting co's to pay tribue to them for their charter.."
