- The canvass here is low b/c summer; some 800 more gas jets will be burning in fall. The district extends 3/4 mile in each direction from potential location of station. "TO estimate evey house in this area would necessitate a tramp of hundreds of miles." (??!!) Needs to finish up and move on to Erie by Tuesday.
