- Title
- [D8352F], Letter from Paul D Dyer to Samuel Insull, June 12th, 1883
- Editor's Notes
- Says he spares no effort to get exact estimate in every instance. Is doing much walking. "This is a splendid field for a Central Station Plant. I have to tell men every day, who stop me on the street, that I have no time to talk, & refer them to the local Co. I find out every night on returning to the Hotel that some well known citizen has called for that 'Electric Light Man." Same man is pres. both of arc light and gas co's. Arc light co is a "fizzle." Will leave Thursday.
