Title
[D8366S], Telegram from Edward Hibberd Johnson to Thomas Alva Edison, August 2nd, 1883
Editor's Notes
Telegram-Corliss two dynamos on main system-small. Armington one dynamo on night circuit fire display Thousand lamps no bugs in wiring or fixture. Some trouble form big engine and main belt and from low. But everybody happy. Fields and regulators heated almost to burning point with load three fifty each speed. Nine hundred full incandecence fields in six multiple armitures perfectly cool. Is this field heating not wrong. Tomorrow will multiply regulators and keep same resistance in. Will also try field in three multiples and run full speed. What else do you suggest will run? Four engines tomorrow?
