- Letterhead of Alaska Salmon Packing and Fur Company San Frnsisco He opens the letter with reminding TAE of his interest at one time of visiting Alaska. Since 1880 Alaska has developed some excellent mines which had findings of Plantina which is still relatively unknown. Hopkins would like TAE to advance any information about of the Matrix of Platina and its origin. TAE marginalia " Plantina has been found in gravel in panning gold what maleable grains are mixed with Um-] gold- maleabliity is the test.
