- Editor's Notes
- Laboratory report. Had Force make glass vessels to fill with City gas, hydrocarbon deposition expt. Made clamping device for tie drawn fibers on. Bergmann repaired small rollers for rolling Pt clamps. "Fastened fiber on inside part by depositing hydrocarbon with an arc under petroleum. This worked to a certain extent, it being impossible to depoit sufficient quantity around the clamp and fiber, as it has a tendency to build up in thread and not in lumps." Small armature finished; ran 1 hour without heating at all. Gives results of electrical tests on motor. Had Bergman put more windings on its field mags. Meter expts.
