Editor's Notes
I did not obtain ant patents for Mr. Edison on Carbon Telephone in Brazil or the Argentine Confederation And I can not find that I prepeared any applications for patents in those countries. # Use in Argentine Republic and use or publication in or out of Brazil prior to the application for patent are fatal to the validity of patents in those countires, excepting that in Brazil it the invention had been patented ab----[?] seven months from the date of patent are allowed in which apply for patent.
