- Wales has enclosed the instrument schemes in which your opinion is requested or has any chance of usefullness if perfected. Wales has some rough drawings at this point and he wants to know if they are important enough to get any backing, Two officals have looked at them and say they might be valuble but not if attempting to subsitutue automaticmatic line printing apparatus. Wales mentions that proposed alteration of Atlantic cable transmission was submitted to no one. The enclosure entitled is also the next document D8373P Telegraph Propostions list the specification regarding the instruments and the electric capacity of cable and how the apparatus is for the automotive printing telegraph TAE marginalia.
