[from St. Petersburg] Thanks for yours of 16. I haven't explained fully how technologically unsophisticated Russia is; electric light a complete novelty and few here "who could be interested in the development of a new and untried idea"; don't have ability to try experiment myself. Hear that Siemens is building electrotechnical workshops; how about if I talk with them about it?
