Title

[D8416AER], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to William Symes Andrews, January 16th, 1884

Editor's Notes

We have ordered forward a new glass for the automatic poler on cross head of engine. We have sent forward new indicator lamps, and have written the lamp factory instructing them to select lamps for test banks so as to have them of uniform volts. We have given instructions tp have sent to Mt. Carmel a separate bank of 50 test lamps and we wrote you several days ago to this effect. There is no oil bank included in the Mt.Carmel contract as they do not desire us to furnish one. The ampere meter was sent forward to Mt.Carmel on the 11th and the lightening arrester in the 3rd
