- Rcd yours of 17th with Bliss letter attached. Re: Holborn, only 1 of the 3 dynamos generally runs at one time. Lighting of Holborn "is of a very poor character indeed, the stores all closing at about 6 in the evening, in fact it is very like the lighting in Wall St." The station has been run extravagantly, losing about 10 pounds per day. Since Swan amalgamation, Flood Page has taken it over and will at least break even. Don't think the station will be stopped. "In any reference that you may make to this station, I do not think that too great stress can be laid on the gross mismanagement, which would of course kill any concern, whatever the margin might be."
