Title
[D8416BDG], Letter from Samuel Insull to John Benjamin Verity, April 5th, 1884
Editor's Notes
re 3/18, TAE will write Page to make arrangements for Verity to do London Isolated installations; if the London Co don't agree, may be able to do something with you on the side as we don't want to make money on our machines, just get them into operation. Explains how to figure max capy of Isolated plant, well below the number of lamps installed, as in NYC. In NY, many more lamps installed than can be run at once; if they were all turned on, "the snap would be busted." Describes plans to expand Pearl St. capacity, so as to be able to take on customers who are waiting.
