- TAE to Willis ref 2/27 "as I understand it Messrs Prevost & Co were the agents of Fabbri & Chauncey, and so far as I understand no business of any consquence has been done in Peru." Wants Stewarts ideas before writing them on this subject. Is it his idea that , if some arrangement is made with Prevost, Stewart would propose an arrangment to work Peru and Chile jointly, on in cooperation w/ Prevost. Send your frank opinion. TAE P.S. "I am not particularly impressed by Fabbri & Chauncey's agents, judging from what they have done so far." so he's willing to send someone from NY rather than enter into something with Prevost, but will defer to Stewart if he prefers Prevost.
