Title
[D8416BSO], Letter from Samuel Insull to Archibald B Stuart, Ohio Edison Electric Installation Co, June 3rd, 1884
Editor's Notes
re 5/29 and trouble with Middletown, Ohio mains : “an excess of 325 lbs of copper has been put in there, that several alternatives were made as to exactly where the mains should run” by the Supt of Construction,” aka Mr. Story. Details follow ## advices Stuart to make complaints “right out, and let us deal with them on the spot, notwithstanding they might lead to a very long discussion …” with nasty and frustrated business associates. “As far as I can see that the main difficulties .. have been in connection with the class of boiler and engines should be used, and on this point do not doubt but what Mr. Edison would be supported by the Light Company, were they appealed to.”
