- Editor's Notes
- [consider for selection as they want to assure Edison's trust with using an outside authority.] Letters of the 2nd rec'd. We can report on why the Bellefonte engine did not regulate properly. Could you do a favor and send the best mechanic that can be found who understands high speed engines, in whom you have unlimited confidence, to inspect this one for you and see it thoroughly tested. You are the only person with anything bad to say about our engines and you are trusting people who don't know. We to pay all expenses. When we ship to Shamokin we will hold back a part so it can only started by our man, as this engine shall certainly be a success.
