- Editor's Notes
- Irt yours enclosing letter from Shamokin Manager asking for sizes and prices of motors, $35 for 1/4 hp and $30 for 1/8 hp but does not contemplate any royalties and we don't know under what rule to sell to any other than the Edison Co. No reply from Eaton or Hutchinson on the subject. Perhaps you can give us the info. TAE marginalia: "Say to Bergmann + Co that the price of the sewing machine motor [1/8 hp] is so high that it ----- the sale entirely. They should be made + sold for 15 dollars can it be done." continues "Maj E = please with official letter so Be Co can formulate our licensees at same price as we would furnish us.
