- the engineer, Mark Laurence [Lawrence} "whom you sent" is returning home, because he probably fathered an illegitimate child. "has concluded to turn his back upon the seductions of life in a foreign land and leave some Chile flowers to bloom and blush unseen." Stewart will write more fully, but recommends Laurence should be kept in the electric light business; he's competent, etc. ## Business is booming, look out for a dozen orders.
