- Editor's Notes
- Has made a contract for lighting the old Teatro de Variedades [see also D8435ZBR], "where our exhibition in Santiago was made, using current from our Station here. I put in 250 10 candle lamps, entirely supplanting gas, with regulation devices &c for scenic effects. The effect is splendid & as a result I am already at work on plans and estimates for three large theatres & am pretty sure t get them. ## I write Maj. Eaton about the condition of affairs regarding this Co. Kendall & Co. do not dare to close the business & will eventually accept my terms of settlement. In the meantime I shall get plenty of isolated and village work, some of which will be very large jobs."
