- Title
- [D8435ZAI], Letter from Willis N Stewart to Thomas Alva Edison, May 23rd, 1884
- Editor's Notes
- Submits plans and specifications for Curio and Quillota, "two small towns where light is needed. You will observe that only a small number of lamps are indicated on the plans & that dividends can hardly be expected. But it must remembered that we get a large price for light in these tows where coal and operating expenses are much less than in Santiago. Please cable me estimates on these plants. & if I figure out a fair profit I will close contracts. Some small towns can be run as isolated plants & so sold, especially where water power is present."
