Will probably send you another letter today giving complete history of negotiations. "the man who takes hold instead of Porges is named [Secretan?] exceedingly rich and has made all his money in industrial affairs; one of his companies is the larges brass & copper company in France if not in Europe. From all appearances we shall be assured of having our light pushed forward with all the vigor possible..."
