- [D8439I1], Letter from Louis Glass to Alfred Ord Tate, January 16th, 1884
- Editor's Notes
- Rcvd yrs of 2nd with list of plants installed and of towns canvassed [unfortunately this is missing]. Everyone out here is enthused about yr flattering prospects, etc. Give my regards to Sprague; remind him of time we went to Fall River and "we were continually told it was the most immoral town in New England and yet after a most exhausting search, Sprague couldn't unearth the least suspicion of looseness. Even the factory girls in the streets passed him by with indifference!" marginalia Tate to TAE: "Glass' Postscript is rather rough on Sprague--He cant mash a Factory girl!!!"
