Title
[D8439Q], Letter from Sherburne Blake Eaton to Samuel Insull, February 18th, 1884
Editor's Notes
covers prev doc. "Regarding Brockton, I remember that when I spoke to you about it you said it was false. That Mr. Rich always had money to pay his bills promptly. I had sufficient evidence at the time, however, to know that you were either mistaken or he was using his money for other purposes without your knowing it. Your denial to me was very positive, but the facts were all against you. I concluded you were not familiar with the details of your business, and dropped the matter." Now similar complaints from Fall River. "In one sense it is no business of mine, but in a broader sense..our company has a direct interest in having Mr. Edison's name kept clean." xxx use annotation for difficulties btwn Insull and Eaton or Const Dept and Iso Co dh 24oct06 xxx
