Title
[D8439ZBH], Letter from William Farley Brewster to Thomas Alva Edison, May 30th, 1884
Editor's Notes
"The inclosed explains itself. it does not commit you or the Co. and it may elicit that which will justify liberal proposiotions. I don’t think it right to make propositions to those who cant say they mean business. I go to country (Bellport L.I.) at 3 PM. Return Monday noon. If possible have determined by that time what you can & will do. Also sound Light Co. this is 'put up or shut up now.' Its success will put the whole central Plant business on its feet booming."
