Title

[D8442ZBP], Letter from William Symes Andrews to Samuel Insull, February 26th, 1884

Editor's Notes

Sorry to hear such bad reports about Hazleton station. I have been reluctant to report on "steam matters" b/c that's Rich's area, but since you ask me to I will report on that as well as electrical matters. House wiring etc is good. "In the matter of engines and boilers however the case is different. There has been hardly one station that has not given more or less serious trouble and dissatisfaction on these points." Thinks b/c over-rating power capacity of engines and boilers. Bellefonte is example.
