I stated in former letter that capacity of all our plants has been overestimated; gives figures for TAE's "mathematical experts" to review. Need more volts and hence more power from engine when take into acct 15% drop on lines. TAE marg: "You probably don’t catch on to the fact that the 1st investment is the trouble in pushing our biz-- the local people must suffer a continuous loss in operating for their lack of confidence we are fully aware that down east where coal is [cheap] dear 5 percent is the most that should be lost yet we could not start a company if we put this amount of copper in We long ago made a curve on the critical point between the cost of coal & interest in the copper investments.
