- reply to tg re 2nd installment on contract, details "interminable delays" w/ supplies, Walker, Conant; we wont pay, Church only lit b/c they ordered supplies seperately, "in order that your men should not sit idly down with folded arms awaiting the heavens to fall or your service wire to arrive (about one and the same thing) we have ordered them to cobble up some temporary appliances...", men are excellent--if only they had the supplies
