Title
[D8456Z], Letter from Harry Ward Leonard to Thomas Alva Edison, January 26th, 1884
Editor's Notes
We now run from 3 or 5 pm until 11; Schwenk has asked me to run later, also about 3 hours in morning. Pls wire instructions [TAE marg; "Write."] Wiring men aren't soldering inside work; OK? [TAE marg: "Bad--they must solder."] Running 150 lamps with contracts for 200 more. Send naptha blow lamp. Rich's man (Joe Blair) and local engineer don't work well together. Don't think Blair should be left in charge; he "has not been accustomed to 'boss'" & doesn't know the dynamos.
