- Everything running OK. New engineer found excessive soot in stack; apparently never cleaned. Now have all the steam required for heaviest load. Doubleday here; improved engine operation. Going to standardize volt meters against volt box Doubleday brought---need this at both Sunbury & Shamokin. Also need feeder saftey catches.
