Title
[D8462E], Letter from George Harrison Bliss to Thomas Alva Edison, January 15th, 1884
Editor's Notes
100-light dynamo at Merchants Natl Bank, Chicago, running 88 lights sparked badly and overheated so as to melt the solder. Insulation also gave out. It's gone to Machine Works for repair, but can we continue to run this many lights from it? TAE marg: "Meadowcroft= Did you send all the documents I gave you to Bliss## Among them was a letter from Hutchinson saying 100 lit mac was best machine made. Did this letter go?"
