- Title
- [D8503ZAM], Letter from Charles Lawrence Bristol to Thomas Alva Edison, April 29th, 1885
- Editor's Notes
- Asking TAE to introduce him to someone in England, because he is planning on spending his summer there and does not know anyone there. Asks that if TAE has "not altogether forgotten the 'Professor,' or if you don't think him a disreputable fellow," TAE could do him a great favor by introducing him to someone there "of whom I might borrow a quarter if I were hard up." Offers in return that when TAE's son is old enough to send away to school, "I'll be glad to give him my attention" if TAE sends him "here."
