- Title
- [D8503ZBI], Letter from James A Russell to Thomas Alva Edison, July 5th, 1885
- Editor's Notes
- [Letterhead of The Edison Electric Light Co.; newspaper classified advertisement attached to top of letter]. Received TAE's letter of July 1; had the advertisement which is attached to this letter inserted in today's Herald [ad states "I want to charter a steam yacht"]. Have three appointments tomorrow with "yacht-people." Saw Commissioner Hess at my house last evening and had a long talk with him about the underground business, "he is all right." Hope you are having a good time, "remember me kindly to Mr. Gilliland." "I feel confident that I will have a yacht for you in a day or two."
