- Editor's Notes
- Years ago you told me about some effects of mechanical vibration which you had obtained which closely resembled those produced by a shock machine on the body. My friend Dr. Weir Mitchell would like to repeat those experiments in connection with his physiological work, but I have only been able to produce a tingling sensation. I understood you to mean that you "obtained the same violent cramping of the muscles that is produced by a secondary high tension current." Can you tell me the apparatus and conditions I would need to get these results?
