- Editor's Notes
- [Letterhead of [---------] University crossed out, U.S. Signal Service handwritten in place] Received some lamps with extra platinum pole "for which I think am an indebted to your kindness." Please have a Bergmann & Co. catalog sent to me; I hope to be able to order some instruments soon. Right now I have no funds, but the appropriations bill under consideration will probably put me in better shape. ##I wrote you some months ago about the possibility of copper plating some carbon buttons and you offered to have them made for me. Can you let me know if anything has been done on this? I'd like to finish the carbon button investigation as soon as possible because it is attracting some attention. The buttons can be larger than usual if that makes carbon plating easier.
