- [Letterhead of Hall's Safe & Lock Company] Not expecting to be in Chicago until I had made a trip to Erie and Oil City, I wrote [-----] personal friend Mr. R. to open to inspect the Est for Stock Indicator. Mr. R. said that he had done so and will see what he can do. I explained to him the probable difference in cost between a plant in N.Y and Chicago, and upon about what terms they can obtain control of it in Chicago. Will be in Erie, PA, Monday and Tuesday and hope to be in Chicago within the next 20 days.
