[Letterhead of EELCO of Newburgh, NY] Received your June 3 leter asking me to send check for $415.99 for balance due you. I cannot pay without authority from the Directors of our Co. I will bring the matter before them at their next meeting. "I will also say that we are very 'short' of money now and will be until after the short lighting hours are over."
