[D8523ZBB], Letter from Edison Electric Illuminating Co (Piqua), H K Wood to Samuel Insull, June 5th, 1885
Editor's Notes
[Letterhead of the Piqua Edison Electric Illuminating Co.] Yours of June 3 noted. You either are not posted on pricesof wire or something is wrong. We are buying the latest wire which we claim has better insulation than yours. It is also a better pattern, as it is flat and lays closer to the ceiling or wall and is neater. We are buying it at 226 and 296, according to size, less 20% with another distributor. "So you see my offer was a good one." If you were to see the wire made now, you would agree. Yours is old styled and would not look as nice on the wall.
