- The minutes of Jan. 22. meeting of the Edison Electric Light Company of Europe, Limited. TAE did not attend the meeting but approved the minutes. The minutes discuss the hiring of an attorney, which eventually became Mr. Harjes of Paris. He was at first reluctant but ultimately decided he would serve as attorney. They had also considered J.F. Bailey but Edison prefered Harjes. They also discuss transferring 270 Parts of Founder of the Compagnie Continentale "at the disposition of M. Leon." They agree to send over the 270 parts. They also adpoted a resolution concerning the "Concessions in the Contrats with the German Company." At the meeting they authorized the ratification of the contract with the St. Etienne Company, the contract with the Compagnie Continentale for the central station at dijon. The meeting also dealt with the impending resignation of S.B. Eaton as Officer and Director.
