Editor's Notes: Please call on Mr. Cahill, Secretary of the Metropolitan Telephone and Telegraph Co., without fail on Monday, 21st inst, in relation to first[?] payment on contract. Mr. Davis said that the matter would be laid before a Committee of Directors next Thursday and if there was no misunderstanding as to our guarantee, or some other point, we would in all probability get a check. Therefore it is essential that you see Mr. Cahill and remove all obstacles that may prevent our claim from being favorably passed upon.
