- Editor's Notes
- Confirm our respects of yesterday. ##In the treaty ratified by the Light Co. (re fusion of the Paris Cos.), we find 2 articles we would like to see modified: ##Art. IV, in which it is question of a royalty to be paid on every lamp, the royalty shall not be due on every lamp "manufactured or sold" but only on every lamp employed or sold. ##Art. V: in that art., it is said: "The Light Co. and TAE agree not to sell or to make delivery of incandescent lamps for the continent of Europe…." We propose to add: "nor to give anyone licenses for said purposes." ##In order that the fusion matters can be pushed on as actively as desirable, we would ask that you let us kno by return of post[?] that you are in accord with us to accept these modifications. Kindly give Siegel instructions to accept same in your name.
